L'esprit "Boutique farm" est notre signature. Nous avons à cœur d'offrir un service d'élevage minutieux associé à une communication régulière auprès de nos clients. Proposer un environnement et une attention adaptée au cheval athlète, et cela dès son plus jeune âge, motive notre manière de travailler au quotidien.

The 'Boutique Farm'  mindset focused on a small-scale breeding operation services, where attention to each individual and their owners is a priority. Providing suitable environment to athlete horses from their very young age, drives our way of work on a daily basis.

Claire BILLET-LEGROS

"Après voir eu la chance de travailler pour quelques unes des plus belles casaques du monde telle que celle de son Altesse l'Aga Khan, mais aussi Juddmonte Farms ou encore Coolmore, etc., je décide avec l'aide de mon conjoint Alexandre, de mettre mes compétences et mon expérience de l'élevage pur-sang au service des éleveurs français et étrangers, sur un haras que nous souhaitons garder à dimension familiale."

Mon parcours professionnel a notamment été marqué par une belle expérience de 5 ans au sein des Aga Khan Studs pour lesquelles j'ai été responsable de la jumenterie et en charge des poulinages (une centaine chaque année). J'ai également travaillé pendant 4 ans à l'étranger entre l'Australie, l'Irlande et l'Angleterre. Au cours de ces années, j'ai occupé des postes très variés et incroyablement enrichissants (veilleur de nuit, préparation aux ventes de yearlings, débourrage etc.). Enfin, j'ai pendant 3 ans dirigé le Haras du Mezeray pour Sumbe."

Alexandre CHEVALIER

"Classic Wo Farm est née de la mise en commun avec Claire de nos compétences respectives.

Après une expérience d'une dizaine d'années dans le débourrage,  dont 4 ans comme premier garçon chez M. Philip Prevost Baratte, mon souhait était de monter à l'entrainement. J'ai ainsi  travaillé pour différentes écuries en France (dont chez M. Stephane Wattel et M. Jérôme Reynier) ainsi qu' en Angleterre. En 2021, je décide d'arrêter mon métier de cavalier pour découvrir et me former à l'univers de l'élevage et du consignement. J'exerce toujours actuellement une activité salariée dans ce domaine.

J'épaule Claire au quotidien sur la gestion des chevaux, les travaux agricoles mais aussi l'entretien de la structure."

Claire Billet-Legros

Since the beginning of my young career, I have been lucky enough to work for some of the most world-wide famous colors of the Thoroughbred Inudstry : His Highness the Aga Khan, Juddmonte Farms or Coolmore. With the help of my partner Alexandre, we decided to open our "boutique farm" in order to offer to french and foreign breeders a service mixing the best of what we have learnt along the way.

My working experience is highlighted by a wonderful 5-year experience at The Aga Khan Studs, where I was in charge of the broodmare band and foalings (a hundred each year). Also I've worked for 4 years abroad in between Australia, Ireland, and England. During these years, I held a variety of incredibly rewarding positions (night watch, preparing yearlings for sales, breaking in, etc.). Finally, I have run the Haras du Mezeray for Sumbe for 3 years before I throughed myself into this new challenge of having my own business!

Alexandre Chevalier

"Classic Wo Farm was born from pooling our know-how and skills together with Claire.

After ten years of breaking horses in, including four years as head rider for Mr. Philip Prevost Baratte, I wanted to move into racing. I worked then  as an exercise rider for few racing yards in France (including for Mr. Stephane Wattel and Mr. Jérôme Reynier) as well as in England. In 2021, I decided to stop working as a rider in order to explore another side of the thoroughbred industry : breeding and consignment . I currently work for a french consigner.

Also, I support Claire on a daily basis with horses' management, farm work, landscaping and all sorts of maintenance required on a stud farm"
